NDIS Reports With No Waitlist

Waiting is hard. Your NDIS report shouldn't take months.

When someone is waiting on an NDIS report, every week feels like a month. Maybe there's an access application waiting to be lodged. Maybe a plan review is coming up, or a family is stretched to breaking point while they wait for support to be approved. Whatever the reason, the report is often the one thing standing between a person and the help they need.

Too often, people are told they'll have to wait weeks or even months for an assessment, and then wait again for the report. And when a report is rushed, it can be vague, thin on evidence or simply not what the NDIA needs to see.

At Aimy Allied, an NDIS provider based in Western Sydney and supporting people across Australia, we don't believe you should have to choose between fast and good. Whether you need an NDIS functional capacity assessment, an occupational therapy (OT) report, a psychology report or evidence for an NDIS access request, here's how we deliver both.

Assessment on Monday, report by Friday

We know how much timing matters, so we've built our whole process around getting reports out quickly. Here's what that can look like in practice:

  • Monday: The person comes in for their appointment and our clinician completes the assessment the same day. There's no waiting list and no second booking weeks down the track.
  • Tuesday to Wednesday: We gather any extra evidence we need, such as existing reports, GP letters and input from family or carers, and our clinician starts writing.
  • Thursday: The report is finalised and checked to make sure it's accurate, complete and clearly written.
  • Friday: The finished report is in your hands, ready to send to the NDIA.
  • How do we manage it? It comes down to organisation. We book assessments with enough time set aside to write them up properly. Our clinicians write while the details are fresh, rather than coming back to them weeks later. And because we have capacity right now, your report isn't sitting at the bottom of a long pile.

    NDIS reports we provide

  • Functional capacity assessments (FCA) for NDIS access and plan reviews
  • Occupational therapy (OT) assessments and reports
  • Psychology assessments, including diagnostic assessments
  • Physiotherapy assessments and reports
  • Multidisciplinary letters and supporting evidence for NDIS access requests
  • Reports for NDIS plan reviews and change of circumstances
  • Fast, but never rushed

Speed means nothing if the report isn't good enough. A weak report can lead to a rejected access request, a smaller plan than someone needs, or months of back and forth with the NDIA. So while we work quickly, we never cut corners on quality.

It starts with the right evidence

A strong report is built on strong evidence. Before and after the assessment, we collect everything that helps tell the full story, including:

  • Existing medical and allied health reports
  • Letters and records from the person's GP and specialists
  • Information from family members, carers and support workers
  • Results from standardised assessment tools
  • Real, everyday examples of how the disability affects the person's life
  • We pull all of this together so nothing important is left out.

What makes our reports stand out

    Every report we write is:

  • Written by qualified clinicians who understand disability and the NDIS
  • Specific and detailed, with real examples rather than general statements
  • Focused on function, showing how the disability affects daily life, not just naming a diagnosis
  • Backed by evidence, with clear reasons for every recommendation
  • Easy to read, so the person, their family and the NDIA can all follow it
  • The result is a report you can be confident in, delivered when you actually need it.

Getting the message across to the NDIA

The people at the NDIA who read reports and make decisions have never met the person. All they have is what's on the page. If a report is unclear, they can't guess what the clinician meant, and the person may miss out.

That's why we write every report with the NDIA reader in mind. We explain clearly how the disability affects the person, what support they need, and why that support is reasonable and necessary. We link each recommendation back to the evidence, so there's no doubt about where it came from.

In short, we make it as easy as possible for the NDIA to understand the person's situation and make a fair decision.
